In 2007 we started the restoration of our 18th century clay house in Haddebo.The house was in abanded condition for many years , all pipes were cracked, the walls crumbled and in some areas were no floors or ceilings. The house is built on a rock, located on either side of the house extends in length. On the rock are placed the foundations of large stones, and finally the beams . Very strong, and stands the test of time. Besides the fact that the house did not meet the demands of to day, it gave us the impression that it could become a place of peace, nature and creativity . Half a year after demolition and removal of all unwanted materials and structures, we have begun working with old techniques and natural materials: The restoration has begun. We decided to rebuild, both outside and inside with a mixture of Clay, Horse and Cow manour, sand, water , hemp and grasses . The technique was provided by www.svenskajordhus.se
